The TEC MOON Kids is specially designed to make moving a child from a cot to a bed easier. Double-sided viscoelastic safety core with 3-LAYER CORE™ technology, protective fabric with Teflon finish and removable cover. Comes in two colours for the little ones to choose their favourite.
The viscoelastic core incorporates 3-LAYER CORE™ technology designed for children from 2 years old until full physical development. It is 17 centimetres thick, spread out over three layers with two sides; depending on the age of the child. One side is a firm surface for 2 to 8 year olds. As this is a stage of bone and muscle growth, it is designed to enable moving easily with frequent changes in posture. From the age of 8, the second side offers a softer yet equally comfortable surface.
The TEC MOOON Kids fabric is made of Teflon to protect the mattress from occasional leaks until they are capable of sleeping without a nappy and wetting the bed. Teflon predisposes the liquid to remain in one place, making it water and stain resistant. As it remains on the surface, it is much easier to clean it up without it penetrating the fabric. This protects the core and prevents unpleasant odours.
If your child does not wet the bed, you can do away with a waterproof cover. This increases the breathability of the TEC MOON Kids, helps the child to sweat less while sleeping and, to sum up, provides him/her with better conditions to fall asleep quickly and sleep all through the night. The mattress cover itself is easily removable thanks to its zip around the entire perimeter of the mattress, in the event it needs to be dry-cleaned.
Who hasn´t been tempted as a child? At this age, it is normal for a child to want to turn his/her mattress into a trampoline. To prevent any possible accidents, the TEC MOON Kids is designed with a special viscoelastic that acts as a shock absorber, making it difficult to bounce on. Children, it´s for your own good.
As they develop cognitive and emotional skills, children´s imagination is boosted. And with it, come the first night-time fears of the dark and sleeping alone. The TEC MOON Kids has been designed with a colourful blue and pink multistar upholstery to help chase away all those ghosts.
